Job Summary
Deloitte is hiring a Consultant - Application Engineer (L1 Support) to join its team in Hyderabad. As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, testing, and integrating core desktop and cloud-based applications to streamline the developer build environments. This role is central to supporting the integration of enterprise tools into physical and virtual environments, helping drive digital transformation and productivity across Deloitte's business units.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and integrate core components into the desktop build environment.

Collaborate with developers and engineering teams to enable application deployment.

Perform requirements gathering from both internal stakeholders and external sources.

Assist in integration of tools such as Office 365, web browsers, Adobe Acrobat, and accessibility software.

Support business engineers by mapping business processes and organizational frameworks.

Contribute to proof-of-concepts (PoCs), pilot projects, MVPs, and quality checks.

Partner with IT teams to support deployment of AI capabilities across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience deploying applications into cloud environments, especially Microsoft Azure.

Integration knowledge of MS Office, Chrome, Acrobat, and other core tools on both physical and virtual platforms.

Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and scripting.

Strong analytical thinking, with excellent attention to detail.

Effective communicator, able to work both independently and within a team setting.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Hands-on experience with application packaging and deployment processes.

Knowledge of App-V, Numecent virtualization technologies, and AI deployment strategies.

Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) tools and methodologies.

Ability to align technical integrations with business process structures.
