Application Developer – Java & Web Technologies at IBM
IBM is hiring Application Developers skilled in Java & Web Technologies to work in its prestigious Client Innovation Center in Hyderabad. This role is part of IBM Consulting’s mission to drive technology-led transformation for clients worldwide, with a particular focus on secure, cloud-based and AI-enabled systems.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java or replicator frameworks

Write JUnit test cases and handle production debugging

Develop SQL queries and backend logic for integrations

Understand and write client-side scripting when required

Collaborate with peers across development, testing, and deployment phases

Work as an individual contributor, managing deliverables under SLA/SLO timelines

Be open to learning client-specific tools, APIs, and cloud platforms

Demonstrate problem-solving, logical thinking, and strong communication
Required Technical Skills

Strong Java development expertise

Solid understanding of design patterns, frameworks, and SDLC

SQL and backend logic writing

JUnit for testing Java modules

Familiarity with replicator and Plx frameworks (preferred)

Understanding hybrid-cloud architectures and data pipelines
Preferred Experience

Experience with data analytics workflows

Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud providers

Experience with Workday integrations or external APIs
