👨💻 Job Role and Responsibilities
As part of the Core Software Engineering team, you will:

Design, develop, and test distributed software systems powering ONTAP

Work on cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solutions

Contribute to system reliability, security, and feature enhancements

Build and integrate 3rd party packages securely into the product

Resolve security vulnerabilities and CVEs
-
Lead feature deliveries and participate in end-to-end SDLC
-
Conduct code reviews, write specs, and participate in cross-team technical discussions

Write unit tests and automate integration workflows
🧠 Skills & Technical Requirements

Proficiency in C++ is mandatory

Bonus: Python scripting experience

Strong knowledge of file systems, client-server architectures, OS internals (Linux, FreeBSD)

Experience with:

Multi-threaded applications

Cloud environments, REST APIs, virtualization

Security patching and software vulnerability mitigation

Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines is a plus
