Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, architecture, and test engineers to develop system-level software solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to create innovative solutions.
Participate in designing and coding software features for Qualcomm products and systems.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and integration to ensure project completion within deadlines.
Conduct code reviews, regression testing, and triage issues to ensure software quality.
Work closely with the project team to meet objectives and deadlines.
Document technical specifications and software projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python.
1+ year of experience with Database Management Software.
1+ year of experience with APIs.
1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or other Source Code Management Systems.
